We accept files created in the following applications:

Illustrator CS3
Photoshop CS3
InDesign CS3
QuarkXpress 6.5


file formats

Set files in CMYK mode

TIF [Photoshop files] at 300ppi
EPS [Illustrator files]
JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF are NOT accepted for printing

Please send all linked files placed in your document, as well as all printer and screen fonts used (MAC fonts only).

Colors MUST be converted to CMYK color mode for 4-color process printing.


fonts

Macintosh Postscript fonts (e.g. Adobe Type I)
We do not accept True Type fonts (PC fonts)

Please specify actual font style (i.e. Italic or Bold) from font menu not via attribute option

Please include both printer and screen fonts used when sending artwork

You may choose to convert fonts to "outline" or "paths" to avoid font problems.


art charges

If art requirements are not met, a Design Fee of $50.00 per hour will apply. We will notify you before proceeding.		  

pc / windows applications

Illustrator CS3
   Convert type to outlines to avoid font issues
   Convert colors to CMYK
   Do NOT include placed files when saving
   Save file in EPS format
   Send placed files along with EPS file

Photoshop CS3
   Flatten layers
   Be sure your file is in CMYK mode
   Save file as TIF at 350ppi


resolutions

Scan images at 100% of final print size in the following resolution:

Bitmap/Line Art (Black & White): 800 ppi
Halftone-color/Gray scale: 300 ppi
ppi = pixels per inch


bleed specifications

Important!
Place all "non-bleeding" copy & artwork 1/8" inside trim/crop marks. Bleed art must extend 1/8" beyond trim/crop marks
