We accept files created in the following applications:

Illustrator
Photoshop
InDesign
QuarkXPress

file formats
Set files in CMYK mode

TIFF, PSD (Photoshop files) at 300 dpi
EPS, AI (Illustrator files)
PDF at 300 dpi
WORD, CGM, BMP, WMF, PICTJPG, GIF, PNG
are NOT acceptable for printing

Please send all linked files placed in your document, as
well as all fonts used.

Colors MUST be converted to CMYK color mode for
4-color printing.

fonts
Factory maintains an Adobe Type font library and additional
fonts. TrueType fonts may not be suitable for printing. Factory
reserves the right to substitute a Postscript font at our discretion.

You may choose to convert fonts to "outlines" or "paths" to
avoid font problems.

art charges
If art requirements are not met, a Design Fee of $50.00
per hour may apply. We will notify you before proceeding.             

pc/ windows applications
Illustrator
   Be sure your file is in CMYK mode  
   Convert type to outlines to avoid font issues
   Save file in EPS or AI format
  
Photoshop
   Be sure your file is in CMYK mode
   Save file as TIFF or PSD at 300 dpi

resolutions
Scan images at 100% of final print size in the following
resolution:

Bitmap/Line Art: (Black & White): 1200 dpi
Halftone-color/Grayscale: 300 dpi
dpi = dots per inch

bleed specifications
Place all "non-bleeding" copy & artwork 1/8" inside
trim/crop marks. Bleed art must extend 1/8" beyond
trim/crop marks.
